ColorGrid

What is this?

The ColorGrid is a 16x16 programmable color light grid located in The Learning Lab (California). It is developed and run by students.

Click for Technical Details This website is built with pure HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We use Google Firebase as a backend and database. The hardware is powered by an ESP32 development board and uses Arduino (which fetches the Firebase database for the colors).

Student Developed

The ColorGrid is fully programmed and maintained by two students.

Create Your Own Design

Our built-in canvas tool allows you to draw and animate the configuration of the ColorGrid. Custom colors are supported.

Energy Efficient

We don't actually know if it's energy efficient or not but hopefully it is lol

Open Source

All code is publicly visible and published on Github with the GNU GPL-3.0 license.
